Default Anyone dye sub hats here?

I need some pointers on pressing them.


please let me know any tips/tricks.

I pressed one and it creased in the middle.

if you are getting creases, you are either using too much pressure...or more likely using the wrong platen for the hat. Some of the better presses have interchangeable platens. If your does not...try cushioning it with a washcloth...I have notice a post on here that someone used that to avoid the crease

Well, I see people try it with a flat press.
Was hoping you say what brand of press you have.
So does it have a device on it that pulls the hat down tight on the platen before pressing?
Or as Charles pointed out you might to build up the platen some.
I cut up mouse pads.

I have a Hotronix. bought it used, still tyring to figure it out. Not as user friendly as my hix and knight shirt presses.
