Default Probably a dumb question....

This is probably a dumb question but I've seen various items available for dye sublimation...such as dog mats and magnetic auto signs...that are sized larger than the "standard" large press size of 16" x 20" or large format printer of 13" x 19". How do you sublimate these items if they are say 18" x 24" or larger?

What are I missing??

Sublimate in sections. I've seen lots about it on dyesub.org. Never had the need to do it myself.

Either piece it (which isn't easy) or have a fulfilment center such as Conde print it for you. They do a great job and the pricing is good.

Hey guys...thanks for the feedback!

Wouldn't piecing it in sections create lines between the image sections?

Also, if you have a fulfilment service..such as Conde... you would still need a large press to be able to transfer the image to the garment??

Wow!! LOL

Not sure exactly where I would put that monster??

But, given the fact that Conde carries alot of these larger items and that there probably aren't too many people that have this type of press...I'm thinking there is something that I am missing.

Is there anybody out there that is doing these type of items? If so, how do you print / press them?

Conde's fulfillment center will print and press them onto whatever substrate you need.
