 Epson 4800 Printer Ink Cartridge Problems
Just turned on printer, said Sublijet magenta "Ink Out" , Replaced cartridge, now the message says "Invalid Cartridge Installed" [This was a brand new cartridge which fit properly] Now I did notice the imprint stamp on the bottom of new cartridge said 6M, the old cartridge imprint stamp said M. This is very frustrating......Just returned 2 Chromablast cartridges because they didn't fit properly and had different bottom imprint stamps. Do you have to specify which imprint stamp you need every time you order these cartridges? I can't believe they're not standardized. I'm sure vendors are not looking to replace cartridges regularily and sending RMA tags to return product. This really puts me in a bind, I was looking to print and sublimate a customers order that is due over the weekend. I've read about the chip resetters in other posts......do they actually work? Also, who sells them and generally how much do they cost?
