Is there an easy way to change/modify an ICC profile that is over saturating a particiular color when used with Corel Draw X? I need to cut back on the color black. Even using the saturation slider in printer driver (KM2530DL) the black color is over saturating and comes out looking blue. Thanks.
what ink..artainium or sublibrite...would call sawgrass and see if there is a new ICC profile for Corel...or have you tried reinstalling with the ICC profile that came with your ink?
Might want to try and change the rendering intent before you do anything else. Sometimes, the ink forumula changes and they don't really let anyone know.
You can also try printing a color chart to see if any black will come out. If you don't have a color chart, you can use this one - www.multirip.com/Corel_RGB.zip.
Definitely call your distributor and see what they have to say. Good luck.
Thanks all for your suggestions. The ICC profile is for laser dye sub. All carridges are new, which may be the problem, the black color is way to strong. The company I bought toner from is sending another black cartridge but in the mean time wanted to see if I could make any changes to ICC profile that would allow me to decrease the color black. The printer allows to decrease/increase saturation but even setting saturation at 0 made no difference. Again thanks to all for suggestions.

I have the same system from colorstar.just put a new black in mine and when doing mugs the black had a red tinge to it.Was gonna say that apparenly they got a bad batch of black.Do you go on the sublimation forum at all
With using a laser printer, I am assuming you are not using a RIP. Thus, you are limited to the adjustment in the print driver for the laser printer. The only way you are going to adjust the ICC profile is to find someone that can develop new profiles. Hopefully, the new cartridge will have the same strength toner in it as the previous one. Otherwise, your distributor might need to get new profiles for everyone that owns that system.
