Default What to charge for hoodies?

Hi,
We are doing hoodies that will have a 8x11 hockey team logo then childs name down left arm and jersey # down right arm and optional picture of child on back of hoody. We are in canada but order from the US.The hoody costs for an ash large is $15.25 so we figure with shipping and duty to be about roughly $18.00 per hoody to buy.So now with that base price to work with how much do you think we should charge with there being 3 and possibly4 printing placements. We dont want to scare people from buying but dont want to under cut ourselves either.Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks
Oneeyedjack

Yeah i can get them in canada but for the same hoody it is $22.00.If you order 40 or 50 at a time it adds up.

Basically you need to figure your costs and add a margin that you want and charge that amount. Absent that a simple rule is to charge 110% of your raw materials cost. If the shirt costs $15 then charge $31.50.

BTW, since you are in the great white north, your money should be about even or a little better than ours.

there will be 3 or 4 placements on hoody.3 of the 4 will always be different so you have to do the extra graphic work for each separate hoody.Just dont want to scare people away but at the same time make it worth the effort.

Thanks...was wondering why the cost was so high. So I assume you are doing dye-sublimation transfers. Are those hoodies nice?

Have you ever tried any of the polymer coatings for sublimation on a generic 50/50 tee or hoody? I think I also saw something of a white base called milk for darks although I have no idea how that works.
