 How long does it take to purge regular ink?
Hi all,
I have been doing regular (non-dyesub) digital and plastisol transfers but I want to play with sublimation, so I just ordered my first set of inks from TOG.
I was curious how long it typically takes to purge the DuraBrite ink from the C88 I was formerly using for regular cotton transfers once I have installed the new cartridges. I suppose I could run a few prints and then try to press a sample, but since I don't know what "enough" is, I don't think I'd know whether the old ink had been sufficiently purged.
I apologize if this is a repeat question. I did several searches in this forum for "purge ink" and came up with nothing.
