Part 2: You can dye sub to black shirts, but don't expect to see much. The shirt colors absorb the colors of the ink and it looks very dark. Not worth selling in my opinion.
Saying this, you would need to drop a white base (either ink or paper base) for you to print colors on black items. Even if Step #1 does this, it is almost impossible for it to do it with no hand and getting the same longevity that you get out of dye sub.
I am a Ripley's person. Show us pictures of your results. If it works, it will be great for the industry. I just know that several companies have been trying to do this and no one can do this to date. Don't let the marketing angle get you hooked. Ask for free samples. And if it works, let us know!
