I'm in the market as well!. Both require Air compressors don't they?
The Equipment Zone SpeedTreater Automatic Pretreater has a built in compressor. It only requires a 120 volt outlet to plug into and is otherwise self contained.
Sounds good. What, if any, are the most common parts of the pretreaters that need replacements? Spray heads and filters? Hope they aren't as costly as Epson print heads.
Actually, the SpeedTreater is designed so that parts do not need to be replaced. The two main pieces requiring maintenance on the Speedtreater are the inline filter and the spray nozzle. Both are removable in under a minute for weekly cleaning. We include an extra nozzle and inline filter with each SpeedTreater so that at the end of each week you just swap out the two on the machine so you can keep going if you need to. You can then wash the nozzle and inline filter you removed when it's convenient and replace them on the SpeedTreater the end of the next week.
We have sold several of the Lawson units and they perform without a hitch. Some of the largest direct to garment printers in the world have been using them and are quite satisfied.

Maintenance on our SpeedTreater Automatic Pretreater is very quick and straight forward. Because of this we have not had replacement needs on components. Below is a video of our daily suggested maintenance so you can see how quick it is to do.
I'd still like to have the opportunity to look at the Speedtreater. As you remember, we were supposed to meet with you at the ISS Atlantic City show to look at distributing the machine, but you pulled out right before the show. We would still like ot condsider carrying the unit. Will it be available to look at in New Orleans at SGIA - what is your booth number?
I do appreciate your interest in our SpeedTreater Automatic Pretreater. It does have many unique features. I am sorry if you are not fully happy with the unit you are currently carrying since you would like to consider selling the SpeedTreater instead. However, we already have dealers for the SpeedTreater so we would be unable to add you as a distributor at this time.
Our SpeedTreater Automatic Pretreater has a compressor built into the bottom base. There is also an air storage tank built into the top cabinet. Because everything is built in you do not need any external air hookups. The only connection you have to provide is a 120 volt outlet to plug the electric cord into.
Because of the design of the system and the very high end spray assembly we use on the SpeedTreater the compressor only needs to come on for about 3 minutes every couple of hours when you use it continuously. If you are only using it infrequently during the day it may only come on once or twice that day.
