Polyester Pretreatment
I have looked at a lot of different threads and couldn't find anything of where you buy polyester pretreatment. I would appreciate some links or suppliers. I have been doing
DTG for years and apparently have been living in a cave. I have never heard of it until I stumbled across a few threads on the site. Thanks in advance.

Re: Polyester Pretreatment You also got to know that its not just the pretreatment that needs to work with polyester but also the inks. It also depends on what
dtg your using. Not all inks are compatible with your printer.

Re: Polyester Pretreatment Ok, then I would guess it wasn't your standard T jet Fast ink. Do you want to elaborate what is necessary?

Re: Polyester Pretreatment You might want to check out Kornit. I think they have or are going to have the ability to do polyester. But the supplies won't be compatible with your t-jet.

www.colmanandcompany.com has a polyester pre-treatment. I have not tried it as of yet, but would be interested to hear from those that did...

Re: Polyester Pretreatment This may help, there is a polyester pre treat in development right now.
So far its proved to be brilliant and works for most polyester fabric including sports shirts and flags etc.
Whilst not currently available it should only be a few weeks longer in trials.

Re: Polyester Pretreatment Any news on the polyester pretreatment ?
Today I did some prints on fleece (2 prints). The print came out very nice (img 0082 - before pressing).
After pressing it was pretty dull (img 0085).
I KNOW... POLYESTER LOOKS DULL!
But after a couple of washes - no fading at all !
I was surprised !
On a white or a very light colored fleece sweater it would
probably still look pretty good.
But a polyester pretreatment would be the best solution to
make the colors more vibrant.
Has anybody tried the Polyinks by Anajet ??????

Yes there is a Poly Pretreat for
DTG printers. Doesn't matter, Epson,Brother or Anajet.
You can check with your ink vendor to see if they carry it almost all of them do.

Please note that the polyester pretreatment is only for printing white or light color 100% polyester goods. It is not for white ink so you cannot print dark 100% polyester garments.
