Default Maxbright

FastColor is nowhere to be found apparently, since US Screen has closed. I'm still new to the industry so I am trying to keep up as best I can.

I was talking with a rep at American Screen and they have a similar pretreatment formula they labeled as MaxBright, or Max Color, I believe (the rep wasnt sure the exact name). They said they will overhaul their website this week so there is no official name on their site as of yet.

anyways, has anyone used this yet? I have never even used FastColor but I have heard nothing but good things about it. If you have used both FastColor and MaxColor is this new formula just as good? I ordered some and will let people know my results but I thought it wouldnt hurt get some info, or provide info for those who were wondering the same thing since I haven't seen any posts about an alternative... maybe i didnt look hard enough. =P

Any thoughts are helpful.

Thanks guys,

Justin

Just be sure when you use the FastColor or Max or whatever, not to spray a lot on the shirt. Just a light mist. If you spray to much it will turn yellow when drying it with the heat press. Also, when heating, use 330 degrees and heat for 5 - 10 seconds. When curing your print, cure for 30 seconds to 1 minute. When washing, wash with like colors. If you use it on a white shirt, wash with white shirts only. If you use it on a light blue shirt, wash with light blue shirts only. The pretreament will absorb the dye from the colored shirts when washing.

I buy all my pretreatment from Fred at American Screen and it works just as good as the US screen stuff did.

Yes, the MaxBright DTG series of inks are sold under our label and Fred is a part of that. I can tell you 100%, they are identical to FastInk.
