Default Machine cleaning

Just curious what type of cleaning solution folks are using with their machines. I have a Hm-1 and the company recommends their pink solution for the capping station and cleaning...anyone using anything other than the mesa brand. The pink stuff they have doesnt really seem to clean anything. Thanks for the help.

We use the cleaning solution also but for stubborn ink around the head we sometimes use a alcohol wipe, the kind they use before the give you a shot. The drug store has them on the rubber parts we then go back over them with the cleaning junk. There are a lot of posts on cleaning your DTG Harry from Equipment Zone has an excellent one, use the search box at the top. Hope it helps, John

I really liked the clear one they used to have, before they changed to the pink. The pink works ok for the basic cleaning but I also agree with John on using alcohol for the heavier stuff or any ink buildup on the face of the printhead.
