zhenjie,
Zhenjie,
I just caught on to it in another forum. I'm thinking of using regular Inkjetfly textile ink which is far more inexpensive than
DTG ink. Using this ink will result in less clogs and a longer life for the printer heads.
From what I understand (and I have not tried this) is that you must use a pretreatment on white shirts and the ink fuses with the pretreatment which bonds with the T-Shirt. The post treatment, though not necessary, would just give the image a longer wash life.
Now T Save is a fixative that prolongs the life of airbrush inks on a shirt. I can see no reason why it couldn't do the same for any inks. Question is would it be suitable as a pretreatment. I am hoping someone has tried this. Since I airbrush as well I think I will give it a try.
