Default Autotreat Pro experiences?

so who has one of these autotreat pro machines with the implemented heat press?

i wonder what your user experiences are?
- does it work properly?
- maintenance procedures?
- how long does it take to pretreat?
- why dont u need parchment paper anymore?
- can u print on shirts right after they come out?
- are the machines very loud?
- is there a manual online somewhere?

thanks,

davitos

You know I know they maybe sold a few of these in the beginning, but I don't think they went over very well. Also this machine is made by US Screen which by all indications, looks to be going out of business. Equipment zone has the speed treater on the other hand, and it seems to have gotten pretty good feedback. I really have seen no feedback for the auto pretreat pro, and did not think it was still being sold.

The Autotreat Pro was discontinued by US Screen at the end of 2008. The machine had a built in heat press and only a few units were sold. We chose not to build in a heat press into our SpeedTreater Automatic Pretreatment System when we first started designing it for the same reasons it was not successful in the Autotreat Pro. The cycle time to spray a shirt on our SpeedTreater is about 6 seconds. Heat pressing the pretreatment requires about 10 to 15 seconds. If the shirt is being pressed inside the machine you can't spray another shirt. So at best you could only do 1/3 the amount of shirts. It makes much more sense from a production point of view to have a separate heat press outside the automatic pretreater. The SpeedTreater can spray 200 to 300 shirts an hour in constant use. It's far better to have one or two heat presses outside the automatic pretreater and run the pretreater at maximum speed.
