Has anyone tried to screenprint the DTG pretreatment ?
With a fine mesh certainly (300 + )
We did in the very beginning when the white ink and pretreatment first came out. Sounded like a great idea. We used 300 and even a higher mesh screen. It was just a mess. The pretreatment basically has the viscosity of water so it just dripped right through the screens. We tried doing it with a clamshell style printer and even a vertical lift style. Both just made a mess. A great idea in concept but it doesn't work in reality.
Screenprint pretreatment ?
