Hello:

We have a DTG HM1 kiosk and we are trying to print dark shirts. When we hit load, we are able to print the white layer and then when we hit load again the printer will start printing the color layer at the bottom of the shirt instead of the breast. This has happened several times and I haven't been able to fix the problem. Now when I hit load for the second run, the error light and the ink light (Not the LED lights) at the top of the machine starts flashing and the printer stops in the middle of the print. We have tried cancelling print jobs, attempting a different piece of art work, tried printing on white shirts and cleaning the encoder strip. As well as unplugging the machine. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

Try cleaning the encoder wheel on the left side of the machine, after a while mist from the ink "spit tank" can cause this to get dirty and lose track of where it is.

My machine is going through the start up seqence and at the end the carraige goes to the left and stays there and the error ejact and ink lights flash. Any solutions?
