Need to Register?

Hi guys,

today i noticed that the black ink is not coming out... so i cleaned the black line... flushed it thoroughly and the lines, dumper, printhead is fine... but when i tried to do a nozzle check, Kiosk as it is going to start the print... it restarts itself... did a couple of head cleans.. tried the nozzle check again... and restarts itself again...

Please help

So a little update on my problem,
the ribbon cable was burned(i think so, there was a black spot on the smaller one that goes in to the printhead) so I changed it.

Again it restarts itself, so i put in my old printhead with cloged whites and again it restarts...

I have checked the main bord and cant see any burned or other discoloration on it... any help on where to look for the problem? I realy cant afford a new mainbord just to check if thats the problem...

One more question.
Is the mainbord on kiosk the same mainbord on the Epson 2200?

There is DTG specific firmware on the Kiosk mainboard that needs to be there in order for the printer to function properly.

Frequently when a ribbon cable is shorted the head, ribbbon cable and main board also short out. Check with your distributor about a new board.

Well, i cant afford that now. and its a little bit over priced i think.

Can you tell me witch par of the main bord can fry. So i can maybe fix it...
I have a used epson 2200... and the parts are the same...

There are onboard fuses that can burn out.
