Default An alternative to buying ink from SWF?

Does anyone know where I could buy ink for a DTG without going through SWF or its sister company Colman and Company? Or do they have a monopoly on the ink? I would presume that using another brand of ink would work but would void any service agreements. Any insight would be appreciated because if I do end up keeping this Kiosk, I'd much rather spend my $10K + per year elsewhere.

Thanks in advance.

You can buy your ink from anyone that sells DuPont ink. There are tons of companies including M&R Print that sell ink. Just look for the best deal per liter or 2 liter bottle. Buying in bulk is the only way to save on ink cost in the long run.

It doesn't necessary have to be DuPont Ink.. really only the white is recommended to be DuPont.

DTGink.com has really good deals with ink and works extremely well with all types of fabrics

Equipment Zone

All American Supply

SWF has V02 ink and yes they have a monopoly on that ink..

I am using dtginks.com. The "Exact" inks mix with the SWF inks without issues. (That would be because they are the same ink.) Their web site is a little buggy though. I guess they expect you to know to click on the "product details" link if you want to buy the product. (Among other minor quirks) If you can figure out the web site you can save a bunch of money. It looks like they have some good prices on parts too.
