1) is baby blue considered as dark or light garment? I was in impression that its light ...but it looks lil dull so it might go in dark i don't know.
2) if I don't have much/any white in image, do i still need 6 to 8% Threshold? it adds 6% more white where we have white in design if i am right?
3) In one of the design on dark shirt, i am not getting hair as brown(its dark brown)...I am not getting any Ink their, just background black shirt. does it has to do with Black-Detect Threshold? I tried it with 82%(recommended in Training) & 93%(Default).

Thx
It would be considered light when you are buying it.
Are you asking about printing white ink on the baby blue shirt?
If you want any areas to be white and not blue then you will have to treat it as a dark shirt for printing. Some designs will print fine on light blue without a white underbase but other designs won't work.
And, you lost me too on the "threshold." I don't know if that is a new feature in V.04 or if I am just stupid.

Brian
Not stupid Brian, nor is this a new feature. In the Utilities-Printer&Ink Configuration-Ink Configuration, there is a Black Detect Threshold. This is in the Print From section of v04. This is a highly complex calculation of what the human eye sees as Black. This is calculated all of the way through the mixing of inks. The program looks at the color, looks at the percentage's of CMYK, runs these numbers through this complex calculation and then makes the determination whether it is black or not. By lowering the percentage you increase the colors that will actually print that are not considered black anymore.
