Default broke kiosk

i have had a kiosk for around 2 years an i havent used it in the last ten months so i think am going to need a print head.so am looking for someone who can fix them as the company i bought it from want £500 b4 they look at it which is a bit to much for me i live in liverpool england if u can help plz let me now thanks

Hi, I take it you are talking about YES Ltd.

Ten months wow. Did you leave the ink in the machine, if you did it could need a lot of work to get it going again. As you have no warranty it matters not who looks at it for you. Is the £500 just to look, this sounds a bit high, infact three times the going rate.

A new print head, dampers and a good flush out for that machine should cost around £500 including the parts not just to look.

you can purchase the print head at www.compassmicro.com
and you can install it yourself with online videos at www.swfeast.com
i did it and it's pretty easy..just make sure you are somewhat mechanically inclined..good luck
