DTG VIPER error service required 0001035...You have got to be kidding. Ok my first viper crapped out seems I drew the short stick and got the lemon. So my distributor very kindly swapped for a brand new one the Friday before last and I was calling for service the same night. At that time there was some short causing the roll bar to hang up. The tech (was wonderful & patient) got here at 3:00 Wed and did not leave until 10:30 that night on;y to have to return the next day. Anyways he's gone one day and now I have service required 0001035!!! I am so tired of depending on someone else to fix this machine that is becoming my daily frustration. Does anyone have a manual. I should at least know what the code means. It's stupid to have to call someone who's unavailble when things go wrong. I do not like to take a number and get in line. Even a weed eater has a manuel!!!! Can anyone help
Is the actual error code 00010035? The Viper is based on the Epson 4880 head assembly so if that is the code you are reading it usually indicates a problem in the capping assembly pump or one of the sensors. I would strongly advise you to wait and have a technician fix it, especially since it is only a few days old and should be covered under warranty. Unless you know exactly what you are doing or have a replacement part ready to put in you could cause more damage trying to fix this on your own.

Even if you do get an instruction manual for your Viper printer - with that error code you are getting, I would wait to speak to the DTG distributor and avoid trying to fix it yourself. It is a brand new machine with a warranty so you should let them take the lead in getting it working.
