Default Nozzel check issues

Anyone else having this problem?
This doesn't always happen but it is frequent enough to be frustrating.

I run a nozzel check and three or four of the colors print fine but the fifth needs cleaning.
So, I run a cleaning cycle followed by another nozzel check.
This time the color that needed work tests fine but one of the others gives poor results on the nozzel check.
I can battle this back and forth for a long time sometimes.

My humidity is at 47% right now so I don't think that is the problem.

Any ideas?

Brian

Check the connections between your lines and your dampers make sure they are tight/snug not loose, sound like it may be a slight air leak!

After you run a head cleaning or two, let the machine set for 10-15 minutes and do a nozzle check, this will allow the inks to "settle down" a bit and can often times result in a good nozzle check.

Hope this helps!

What tends to happen if you do too many head cleanings in a row is that you turn the ink in your dampers or cartridges from a liquid state to a foam state. Now instead of printing with liquid you are trying to print with foam. So instead of improving the nozzle output the problem seems to be getting worse. If you do experience this after several head cleanings, go get a cup of coffee and leave the printer for 15 minutes. Come back and do another nozzle check and there's a good chance everything will be fine.

Isn't that what I just said before?
