| Re: No Power at all. There are three different power sources on the HM1 One is in the back of the machine, that is your main power, check to make sure that one is one. Then there is the front power button, the big one right on the front of your machine, Make sure that one is pushed down. Then their is the power for the printhead portion of the machine. Check that one too Once you check all three of those let me know if you still have a problem. | |

| Re: No Power at all. Well I am glad that worked but I am a girl haha.
Did you install your maintenance program yet? If so what you would do is put ink in your bottles first, then from your maintenance program you will go to where it says ink charge. You will need to click that button, and it will take several ink charges to get your ink up into your printhead. Oh and once you have your ink in your bottles, remember to pull the big emergency stop button back up
And yes, any time you need to shut your printer off quick, that is the button you would use. | |

Lol, when I first got mine.. I plugged it in.. started to panic because it wouldnt turn on, just as you.
My boyfriend was on the other end of the machine, pulled the red button, it started moving.. and I didnt even think to hit any buttons to make it stop, I just yanked it right out of the wall..
Apparently, you're not supposed to do that
Glad you guys got it all figured out, have fun!

| Re: No Power at all. Well it really did not need to be turned off, but if you do need to turn it off quick that is the way to do it. The only time you do not want to hit that button is when it is mounting or unmounting itself off the capping station. As long as the printhead is not mounting on the capping station, it is fine to use that button to turn it off I do it every time I clean the face of my printhead, to get it to stop off the capping station. I have been doing this for over 2 years, and so far no problems at all. | |
