I can never seem to do a nozzle check because it prints off the plate so i can't see what its done. I've manually cleaned through the tubes, but when i went to bring the ink through it won't.

i'm guessing the sucking mechanized is dead?

It could be your capping assembly. It could also be your main board. Take off your blue top cover and check the capping station. There is a small hose from the capping station that connects into the pump. Check that it is attached and not hanging loose.

To do a nozzle check take out your shirt holder. Raise your tray until it's level with the top of the tray sides and print your nozzle check right on the tray.

All the tubing seems fine, it has started to suck a little. But its going really slow and it doesn't seem to be sucking much ink through

Capping station is sucking, put some cleaning fluid on top on the station and it sucked it right through no problem.

So what does that mean? is it the print head?

Do you mean there is no ink in the ink tubes coming from your bulk ink bottles to the dampers on top of your print head? Are the dampers empty as well?

If you have the valve system on your Kiosk make sure the valves are open. If they are, then pop off each damper and, using a syringe, reprime each one. Check that the ink flow is easy to pull in. If you feel resistance then check that the ink lines aren't kinked somewhere.

I think that may have something to do with it!
Check the pipes haven't got a break in them, sounds like air is leaking into the pipework.

I agree with Harry, pull the ink through the dampers with a syringe. Sometimes if there is air in the lines it can cause a vacuum, and keep the ink from flowing.

A side note, we recommend getting a clear piece of plexiglass (you can get small plexi window panes at Home Depot - 8" x 10" is fine) and printing your nozzle check on it. You can lift up to the light, see all colors and it's easy to clean up.

Hope this helps!
