Nick,
Were you able to get with tech support and get it worked out? Sorry for not seeing this post until today, I'm on the road in Greensboro, NC for a show.
Call me Monday morning if things are already taken care of.

Well I spoke to the tech guy but for some reason things aren't working. When I download the Epson print driver it goes to my desktop, when I unzip it, it dosen't show up under printers and faxes. I'm also having a prob with the embroidery software. Its all installed but when you click on it, it pops open for one to two seconds then goes away. I really need this fixed by friday because im going back to boston for a few days and need to bring some samples home. I took monday off from work so hopefully i can get this resolved. My only other concern is that I filled the printer up with ink on wednesday and worried about clogging the print head. Thanks Don, Sorry to be a pain, Nick

Hi Nick,
I have a feeling Brian is right--you haven't actually installed the Epson driver, you've just unzipped it. Find the .exe file that got created and click it. (Or even easier, unzip it again but make sure the .exe gets saved to your desktop.)
As the last step in the driver install, the installer auto-detects the port your printer is plugged in to. This may fix the port problem you're having with your rip.
Also, based on the symptoms you described, you probably have to reinstall your embroidery software.
