Default Two Problems

Hello alll,
I have had my DTG Kiosk2 for some time now and I have not been able to get the white ink down. I seem to have 2 problems; the first my shirt is flat after I do the pretreatment and press but, when I run the shirt as soon as the white ink hits the shirt the fibers begin to raise. When the second pass for color is done the raised fibers only get the tips hit with ink. When I cure the shirt after I run it I have hundreds of white fibers.

The second problem I am having, almost looks like the ink is spreading across the shirt as it is being cured. I have the ink settings set to put the minimum ink down.

Here are some pics of the problems on some test shirts. I am almost sure it is a pretreatment issue.

I have read the post on here on the fibers being raised( I was very impressed) but it has not helped with my issues.

Thank you for at least reading this long post and hope you can give me some new suggestions the manufacturer hasn't thrown my way.

Paul

I use a hair drier when the white comes out to dry it some and then after the color is applied, this seems to keep the two colors from matting together.when the in is drier before i press it it keeps the white out of my color.here is ashirt we just done like this.hope this helps

To prevent the fibers from sticking up make sure that you are completely drying the pre-treatment prior to printing. If it is wet it tends to let the fibers stand up. Secondly, try hovering your heat press over a white ink shirt for a minute or so prior to pressing, this should help to "flash" the inks and prevent the spread you are describing.

Hoep this helps!
