Default problem whit fading color

We are trying to print on dark colored shirts but the color seems faded and at times the white seems blotchy. Its continually getting worse. The color on the computer screen is bright. Any answers?

Have you done a nozzle check to see if all your colors are printing? What procedure are you using to apply pretreatment?

I am in no way a pro at this but I have been testing and reading for months now.

I have my color management off in Corel draw and use RGB color pallet. I don't use my computer screen to judge the colors. Print color charts on scrap shirts and pick your colors you want in your designs from there. You can also show your customers the colors you are able to print / hit.

Hope this helps because this helped me a lot.

We just replaced the print head on our t-jet. I did a power clean and still no movement in my white. What else can be plugged and how do I clean it.

You could have ink settled in your bottles or ink lines. You could need a replacement capping station.

Have you performed a nozzle check?

I didn't do a nozzle check. I assume it will be bad since I'm not getting proper white when it prints or not much ink movement in line when I do a power clean. I've been told to check the dampers. Not sure how to do this. Capping station is fairly new. I've not printed very many shirts do to other problems with this machine

What kind of printer do you have?

It's really necessary for you to do a nozzle check in order to diagnose the issue. That will help narrow down the possibilities.
