Default What would you do next?

Had a clog - ran isopropyl alcohol through all the lines to clean things up and ended up having to replace one damper (red) that had a hole or something.

However, my nozzle checks keep showing no black ink. I've cleaned the little inserts in the air holes on the ink bottles. Cleaned the lines. If I use a syringe, the black pulls through the damper just fine, so I'm guessing it's a print head clog still?

What next step would others take?

try pulling through from the pump side of the capping station, might get rid of the clog.

Thanks! I did that, plus a few more head cleanings and it did the trick. I'm back up and running, thank goodness.

BTW - I got the cleaning with alchohol trick on here just the other day and am SO VERY PLEASED with how well it works. I can't say how glad I am I found this board!

Be careful when using isopropyl alcohol with your printer. While it does a good job of breaking down ink deposits - it also dries out rubber components like those in the capping station and the wiper. I would never recommend that anyone run isopropyl alcohol through their printer, it can also cause delamination of the printhead ultimately causing it to fail.
