This may sound like a dumb question, but most of the prints I am going to do are going to be on black shirts and just simple text. It is much easier to see the text on the vector backround if you make it in any color other than white. If I have a text that I made that is on a vector backround and is in the color black, can I print this on a black shirt, but have the color print just white onto the shirt? Is there a setting for this, or is it better to make the vector in all white color? Thanks a ton all.

You can RIP the image in Print Pro and ask it to just print the white underbase.

Most times probably still better to have the vector in white. Just put in a black background that you can remove later?

If you are using RIP Pro, simply generate the text in solid black and choose White INk Layer as your color setting and it will only print white ink.
