Cleaning Solution On Ribbon Cable: What To Do? We just posted on another existing thread, but decided to begin a new thread just incase our question doesn't get noticed in the other thread. We were just flushing a clogged nipple in the print head, it was the white ink LM. When we removed the piping attached to the syringe, a small amount of cleaning solution squirted out of the syringe into the print head. I checked and noticed there was a small amount of cleaning solution on the white ribbon cable that goes into the print head, right next to the yellow ink damper.
Should we pull the print head apart and clean any possible moisture from the cable, or leave it overnight to dry? We weren't planning on using the printer until tomorrow.
