Default Getting Out Of Dtg Biz

I have had my DTG KIOSK with white ink for about a month. Printed probably 200 shirts off of it. For personal reasons I am wanting to get out of the business. However I am in a lease agreement. Has anyone had this problem before or have any suggestions on the route I should take to get out????

Maybe you can find somebody interested in taking over the lease if possible???

Don't know the specific terms of the lease but can't see how they can keep you from setting up an arrangement where you sub-lease it out to somebody else local. Just a thought in case there is no "back door" with the lease agreement.

Where are you located?

Amanda,

Look at your lease documents, some leases are assumable. Contact your leasing agent and see if that is an option.

Hope this helps!

If the lease is of the normal kind, you will have only three choices...get someone to take over the lease (will probably need lessor's approval), default and allow repossion (sure plays havoc with credit rating) or keep it until you can find some to buy or take over. You might contact your lessor and see what you need to do to either buy out or get new buyer
