Default Print Pro software

I bought a used Kiosk that has a dongel but not the print pro software. Can soeone tell me where I can get a copy of that software? I've searched the web and can't find it and I don't have an extra $1,600 I can throw at Rippro.

Thanks,
Mark

The dongle is for your maintence program, if they did the same with yours that they did with my HM1. The rip software is seperate. I dont know where you would get the rip pro free because even if you can get a copy of the software you still need an activation code that give when you purchase it to make it work.

If its the original Kiosk then yes, the dongle will be for the Print Pro software. If its HM1 then Bobbie is right, its for the maintenance software.

I know there is a copy of Print Pro on an FTP server somewhere. Best to contact the distributor the machine was originally purchased from because you still need a serial number for the software installation.

Pantograms sold it to the 1st owner, and it is over a year old Kiosk. I called them and since they don't distribute the software anymore they don't have a copy of it, but are willing to sell me rippro for $1,600.

The package i have has the wagner, (2) bottles of pre-treatment, the dongel and the manual for printing on dark shirts that explains how to install the printpro software.

Hmm, I finally know what my tail tastes like.

$1,600 wow that is very expensive. Have you tried to call all of the DTG distributors or even iProof themselves to see how much it would be to purchase Rip Pro?

You will probably wast $1600 in ink and test shirts trying to get correct color matching with Print Pro. Before we started using Rip Pro, we'd always have to print several test shirts before we actually printed the real shirt to ensure the colors were correct, and had to adjust settings such as dpi, dot size and sometimes the image itself to produce the correct colors.

I'd at least like to get a copy of the software to see if I even want to try dark shirts or just run whites. Do you know of anywhere i can download and try it, I do have a dongel.

Mark...didn't someone say the dongel was only needed for maint. software?.. I tried a websearch and found nothing that would help with print pro. I sure wish you luck in this. I am curious...without it...are you saying the system is not usable for printing on dark?

zhenjie-
I tried to get registered in the DTG forums but can't without paying a $1,000 support contract with Pantigrams. They said it's there forum and since I'm not the original owner, I have to pay to get in.

Can you give me Sanjay's email address?

Charles-
As I understand it, the dongel is needed for Print Pro & a serial # for Rip Pro... but I don't know for sure.
