Default Has Anyone seen this?

A couple of weeks ago I asked the question concerning streaks in block of color. I'm still having a little trouble in this area. It seems to involve the cyan as the uneveness happens in the blues, greys greens etc. If anyone has any info on the it would be much appreciated. Please see attach pic.

A few questions - what specific printer, what resolution for white & color, what ink set?
Thanks

I also experience these streaks. I'm almost positive this is not banding. SWF once told me that the resolution of the image could be the culprit, but in my case it's a very high res. image.

I have found that for me it's only on certain colors, usually involving red. Coincidence since red also comes up blotchy when I use too much white ink to give it a solid look. No solution on that problem either. But I see yours is on green. Let's see what people think...

Hmmm.. I forwarded a copy of this to our Support/Service Team here at Pantograms and will relay their findings.

I spoke with our DTG Support Team Lead and was informed that this could be caused by a number of issues. Our first course of action would be for you to send us the art file to insure it did not duplicate on our machine. If it does, then it is a product of the graphic. If not, we would want to insure that you got a clean nozzle check prior to the print, and to make sure the wiper assembly was clean. From there we could trouble shoot it further and determine the root of the challenge. You may have a clog fragment on one of the nozzles that is causing this.

Do you do a daily nozzle check to make sure all your ink channels are firing completely?

Thanks for all the response's.
To answer a few questions, the machine is a DTG Viper, I've only had it a month, bough from new. I've tried a number of different resolutions from 160dpi to 300dpi, I've also tried loads of different combinations of ink settings from very little underbase to maximum, with combination of color booster from 0% to 100%, I've boosted & reduced just the cyan & I've increased the gain in the color curves all with no change to the eveness.
Nozzle checks are done daily & are good. The wiper blade & docking bay are cleaned every shut down, including the ramps & steel strips on either side of the print head then the print head is cleaned & the code strip.
I've printed the same logo on a white Tee (no white underbase) & it comes out perfect.
All other things we've printed (photo's, white tees, yellows, reds, font's in blues & greens) the printer has performed perfectly.
I hope you can help?

Hi, I have seen this before. I dont think it is anything to do with your equipment. Have you tried a different brand of shirt, some fabric dyes react with the pre treatment making the white ink react.

Does the image look ok before you cure it or is it streaky the minute it is printed.

One last question, how old is your heat press and is the teflon coating good.

i to am having quite a problem with this patchy banding issue.

i have a hm1 and was getting this issue real bad in the magenta colours, so i ended up replacing the print head. (i am on my 3rd print head in less than 1000 prints!)

it doesnt do it quite as bad in the red now but it is still apparent, which is very frustrating, but even more so is the cyan now. the new head printed ok for a couple weeks, but now the cyan is printing very patchy with banding.

all nozzle checks are perfect though.

any more suggestions from people on this would be extremely appriciated.

I hope it's not the print head. It's done this from new. The local agent here is supposed to be putting me in touch with the experts. As yet I haven't heard anything. But as soon as I find out anything I will pass it on.
