Just bought a used system. Replaced print head, capping system and added bulk system. Have great coverage on all but yellow does not print at all. Flows into the lines and is on the pad of the capping station. Have done many head cleanings. If I do a nozzle check no yellow. Any thoughts.
If you just replaced your print head then check your ribbon cable connections. First check that you have no burn marks on the cables and, if not, that the cables are plugged in snugly.
Check your yellow cartridge or damper. Remove it from the print head, stick a syringe in the bottom hole, and try sucking out. The ink should flow smoothly. If it's hard to pull through, take the ink hose off the cartridge / damper, put the syringe in the ink hose and suck out. If it flows easily then you have a problem with the cartridge / damper.
I would try a new damper. Sometimes every so often I will get one that is just defective and does not seal properly. If the damper is not sealing properly it will not flow. Just a thought

Even with a leaking damper I would expect to see something, we know that there is ink in the head because he can draw ink through.
Changing the damper is easy and cheap so should be tried but my guess is that it is electrics.
