This might be a beat question but I was wondering if anyone has experimented with the available DTG white inks. Has anyone found the perfect white ink yet or narrowed it down to those they wouldn't use?
Also, since I'm thinking up questions... Is there a clear base DTG ink around?
Thanks,
Bob ?;O)

The most consistent white ink for the dtg's is DuPont. Any company that is carrying epson based dtg printers, is using the DuPont ink, it is just relabeled.

Thank you BobbieLee... May I ask which provider you are using?

There was also Expand systems. they were at Long beach selling a DTG ink and printers. Their ink was made by Kimberly Clark-Yuhan. they had a hexacrome set and white ink also. They were obviously using epson heads. The samples washed well and the colors were bright. I thought the hexacrome colors were very inovative for a DTG, but on an 8 channel format this only alowed for 2 whites.

Are these still around? What are you using? Wouldn't a hex be 5 leaving 3 for white?

Hex is six (pent is 5) it's CMYK plus orange and green. larger sign printers and some screeners use that type of set. Just a wider posibilty of colors, just like the epsons with the light M, C, and black. You need a Rip that can do the conversion. They did say they had profiles.

LOL... You're right... Are we talking about DTG Ink? Do you have a line to a distributor?
Thanks,
Bob
