Default Great Nozzle clearing utility

AutoPrint: Found this utility... Great for clearing individual clogged nozzles and saving ink on unclogged nozzles...

Nick,

From what I can tell it is not model specific... On my network it could even tell the color capabilities of the HP color lasers... It's a freebe and there are no guarantees but for free it's an interesting utility. I printed out the page from the website where I found it and included it in the zip file... This page explains its usage. What it does is sense the available colors and allows you to turn the colors off that you don't wish to clear... This saves ink over using the Epson utility which will attempt to clear all nozzles at the same time... It's also written in C# which has my wheels turning as to how write an inexpensive RIP utility.

Hope you find it useful... Let us know.

At one time someone posted a link to a program that you could set a schedule for it to print whenever you wanted to keep the heads from clogging.

I found Printer Jockey Printer Jockey but that dont seem like what I had read.

My house is so dry, and me forgetting to print ever so often has resulted in a lot of clogged head on my r1900's

The link you posted, Bob is dead.

Printer Jockey will work for you if you want it to schedule a cleaning every so many hours on specific days of the week (i.e. over the weekend when you are not at the shop, on holidays,...). You can set the schedule(s) yourself. It sends the command to do a cleaning based on your schedule. You do need to have the printer and computer on / connected for it to work.
