I would advise to really do alot of research to find which machine will fit your business plan. Here is a great thread to start with What DTG machine do you own and how did you make your decision on it :), it is a list of most of the machines out there, and feedback from their owners. I myself own the HM1 and bought it from Mesa distributors in Placenta, out near Anaheim. You can probably make an appt. with them to go and see them in person, since you are local. To me it was really important to buy from a distributor that was close to me, so that if I needed service, it would be easy to get. I myself am in San Pedro.

I have to agree with BobbieLee. I would look first at the machines that can be serviced locally since you are in an area that has that available. Hauling a printer across town for repairs is a lot easier than crating it up and shipping it across the country. (And a lot cheaper and faster too.)
