Question If you had it all to do over again?

This is a for instance question. If you had it all to do over again what would you do differently?
I have over fifteen years of experience in screenprinting and production management with both manual and automatic shops. I have never owned my own shop but have recently opened my own business selling promotional products and want to add in-house printing. I am having a difficult time deciding between DTG and good old screenprinting.
I am looking for input from DTG owners and screenprinters who also do DTG.
Thanks in advance for all your responses
