Hello, I currently screen print but am limited to 4 colors and I dread color separation jobs. I am considering getting the HM-1 and want to know if anyone has had any complaints from their existing screen print customer about the prints that come from DTG printers. The other question is has anyone tried printing a DTG transfer using a non-white capable DTG printer and pressing it to a white plastisol base? I know that would not really be an effective use of time but for those of us on a budget (haha), would this work? Thanks for reading, happy printing!

Hi, Most of the equipment as long as it is 4880 based will print the same speed and quality. The key to it is the durability of the image once it is printed. This is down to the ink mainly not the machine. You should research different inks and request samples in order to do your own wash testing as there is a vast performance difference between ink manufacturers.
