Re: Our one chance to get it right One question I should have thought about more when I purchased my first direct to garment printer is whether or not I would personally have to do the printing or if I would have staff and be able to train them.
Learning the various issues and nuances of white ink printing was something that took longer than I was really happy about and is still to this day something that I can't quantify well for my staff to try and take over. I've taught my team how to pretreat, print and cure shirts but if something goes wrong with the printer or it needs to be coaxed into working, I have to drop what I'm doing to get the Anajet running again.
Since I'm the bottleneck when things go bad, it can lead to very stressful days since things don't usually go wrong one at a time.
If I had to do it over again, I'd ease of use over a lot of other things including the ability to print white ink. |
