Discuss the various aspects of direct to garment printing. DTG printers include Brother, T-Jet, Flexi-Jet, DTG Kiosk, Kornit, Mimaki, Tex-Jet and others! Discuss and learn about this up and coming printing technology.
Fast ink is just dupont relabeled. It should be fine, as most of the inks out there (with the exception of a few) are relabeled dupont ink and used in most machines. Hope this helps

If you are currently using the newer DTG V02 inks you can just pour our FastINK inks into your bulk ink bottles. No flushing is generally needed. We have had many DTG users who have switched over to FastINK inks doing this with no problems.
If you are currently using the older DTG Bright Inks that SWF East is phasing out then you do need to flush out your bulk system before changing. This is something SWF East also strongly recommends when changing to their V02 inks.
I switched two weeks ago to the Fast Ink 3. Works great, colors are brighter and the price is less than the new VO2 DTG inks. Also I perform only one head cleaning each morning and get good nozzle check. Before it was like 5 cleanings before I got good noozle check and I print every day.
Good to hear that the FastINK inks are working well for you in your Kiosk printer. Did you flush out your bulk ink system before putting in the FastINK inks or did you just add it to the bulk bottles with whatever V02 inks you had left?
I installed the bulk ink system which I bought from you at Equipment zone. Just placed my second ink order. I have printed about 300 shirts since the change over and have no problems.
Thanks
Ray
Thank you for your feedback. I am curious if you are running our EZ PRO bulk ink system on your Kiosk with the blue top cover off or on. It seems like one third of the Kiosk buyers of our bulk system prefer having the cover off, which they were also doing before getting the new system.
I have a question:
Why do companies put a private label on their ink when it seems like most of it seems to be Dupont "Enquiring minds would like to know"

Harry,
I have the top cover off. Mine is a newer model, just got in Jan 09, and the top cover is solid no hole in the top like the older models. I also forgot to mention the cleaning cartriages-they are well worth they extra money. I was out of town for 5 days and installed them and performed approx 10 cleaning to flush the nozzles. The ink cart that I removed were sealed by wrapping them up. Came back to work installed the carts, performed nozzel cleanings to get the ink flowing-got good nozzle check. I like the system work very well.
Thanks,
Ray
