Default Anybody that can help me by pointing out some details on the different kind of machines?

Hello,

Is there anybody that would be able to help me by pointing out some details that we have to look in to when buying a DTG Machine?

We are a T-Shirt, Denim and Sneaker Brand form the Netherlands and at this moment we use our Transfer Heating Press to print our shirts that we print here for our webshop with Transfers and also Vynil Cutted Flex.

For our collections that go to retailers (different than our webshop shirts) we are using the manufacturer for printing the shirts directly at the factory where are private lebel shirts are made.

We are thinking of buying a machine to print shirts our self so that we can print in smaller numbers so the shirts stay more exclusive, but in that way we also stop the problem of fake shirts being produced and sold by our manufacturers.

We would be extremely happy if there is anybody that could tell us a little more bout what machine would be the best choise??

Thanks in advance for all your help and awnsers.

Greetz

Welcome to the forums, Pritoz. Lots of infos here, so you can just read on and you'll basically have a good idea on what machine would be best for you. Here's an article from screenweb with infos from users of Brother GT-541, Kornit, Anajet and Mimaki GP-604D: ScreenWeb | The DTG User Experience

Support is also very important especially if you plan on printing on dark garments using white ink, or discharge fluid, in the case of the Mimaki. You might want to check first what DTG machine is already available in your country.

Good luck on your search, and let us know of your progress.

Hi vctradingcubao,

Thanks for the reply man, I have been lookin arround the forums allready and have been reading a lot of stuff, basically it is the most important thing that we look deep in to the dark garment options of the machines.

At this moment we allready found out about the T-Jet and the fact that these machines won't bring what the movies of the T-Jet promise. But at first sight we were very enthusiast about the T-Jet untill we found movies on Youtube showing the real speed and stuff. So at this moment we are looking in to two options, the Kormit and a Brother Machine.

In the Netherlands there arent a lot of companies selling these machines, but because we are one of the leading online T-Shirt shops in the Netherlands we wanna go and make a step to the next level in T-Shirt Printing a DTG machine.

Thanks again for the info!

And I will keep everybody updated about the progressions we are making in buying a machine that fits to our needs.

Greetings,

the Pritoz.com team
