Default What DTG to Buy and where in Melbourne?

G'day everyone, I am new to the forum and wanted to ask a question that i hope you can help me with.
I am very interested in getting a DTG but would not have a clue where to start.
I have looked at the T-Jet , a couple of Brothers and the Belquette- only online. I am currently using a Roland cutter with Vinyl and want a machine that wont break the bank but will keep up with volume and cut back on time. Any ideas?
Where in melbourne can I go to see some machines in action and get some demonstrations?
Any advice would be grateful....

Hi Brendan, welcome to the forums. The PACPrint trade show will be held in Melbourne this May 26 to 30. I would expect that some DTG machines will be showcased there. Anitech is the Kornit distributor, and dGsMimaki carries the GP series (my choice is the GP-604D). I'm not sure if they have offices and demo machines in Melbourne though. Might want to make some phone calls, but I think it will be worth it to travel to their offices (sydney or elsewhere). There's also a local Australian company DTG developer. The name is Arakis and they are on to something good, using Spectra printheads and valve system for the white ink. I think theirs is a really promising machine. Lastly, I've read that the new DTG Viper (epson based printheads) was manufactured in Australia too.

Good luck in your search and do give us an update.
