After looking at the website that I can get to work, the biggest thing that stands out is they are pushing their own dye based inks. There have been previous companies that have tried to use a dye based inks for direct t-shirt printing and it did not work real well. The main
dtg manufacturers all use a waterbased, pigment ink. It also seems that they are using a thermal print head instead of a piezo print head. I don't want to put down a company that is doing something outside-the-box, but you should do a little more research and get hands-on experience on something that is completely new or you could be the beta tester for a product that does not work.
Charles is correct about how important tech support is, but also don't discount training. Every
dtg printer I have seen requires the use of preventative maintenance or you will experience downtime. Lack of preventative maintenance will not only hurt your profits, but can also cost you more money on replacement parts. One of the biggest mistakes people have done in the past is thinking these printers are going to work like their desktop printers. This is not the case.
Good luck with your research!
