Default 80/20 Poly Pretreat??

Hey everyone. I have a client that has provided me whit hoodies to print. My question is I normally try to use at least 90% cotton. What he gave me was 80/20. Do I need to use the poly pretreat or is the pretreat for white OK? Thanks for your help!!!!

Default Re: 80/20 Poly Pretreat??

On 80/20 hoodies we have printed without using any pretreat successfully. I don't know if different inks perform the same way. We did cure twice, however, letting it cool in between.

We have also taken the pretreat for white ink and diluted with distilled water and used it as a pretreatment - essentially diluting at the same level as the shirt percentages- so in this case 80 % distilled to 20% pretreatment. That worked as well, but honestly we didn't think pretreating was necessary in our case.

Hope this helps a little.
