where abouts is the smear?
Ive had that problem. Because i have a second hand printer it wasnt too clean in the corners, i think some ink got into the tray so when i loaded the tees it got onto the tees as a slight smudge.
The other problem is if its brown it could be a burn mark from when theyre pressing the tees

To get a good print with no marks or smearing the shirt has to lay perfectly flat. If the edges of the shirt weren't as flat as printing surface it's possible that the print head bumped into the shirt, dragged along the raised area, and left a little excess ink on there.

If it is brown in color then it most probably is a burn mark caused when they heat press the garment after printing to heat set the ink. The heat press is either too hot or they are pressing it for too long a time. White garments are the most sensitive to overheating.
