Default Start up with DTG

My wife and I are currently writing up a business plan in order to get the money together to purchase a DTG printer. This forum has been very very helpful in the process and I wanted to thank you guys for that.

If there are any specific tips you can give me that woul be greatly appreciated. Right now I am leaning towards purchasing the T-Jet 3, but if anyone here can give me a good reason to go another way I would appreciate your input.

Also, just in case it matters, we are based in Canada so if there is anything different please let me know.

I have a Brother and love it even thought it can't do darks. I do not own a t-jet but have just spoke with 4 people within a week that have them and are trying to return them or have given up on trying to return them and just cut their loss.

Phil - All those this will not tell you which printer to buy, you might want to read through it - www.multirip.com/dtg101.pdf.

It was my understanding that the T-Jet 3 was discontinued several months ago. I would be careful buying a used machine unless you buy it from a distributor that has refurbished it. See what Equipment Zone does to old T-Jet 1 & 2 printers.

Hope this helps.

Mark
