Default DTG Cleaning Supplies

Being new at this, we did some searching and found really good deals on the cleaning swabs and alcohol prep pads that are needed for cleaning. Not sure if everyone uses the same things but I dont see why they wouldnt. Anyway, here is what we found.

US Screenprinters charges $30 for 50 swabs, we found the exact some ones for $11 for 50. The only difference is the color of the stick, otherwise they are made for electronics and are the exact same. The shipping will be like $10 BUT that doesnt go up with how many you order so we took advantage and ordered like 300. Anyway, you can find them here (make sure to get the foam tipped ones and not the cotton tipped ones) Foam Tips, Cotton Tips, Swabs, Applicators, Chamouis Tips...

As far as the alcohol prep pads, you can get a box of 3000 (you figure 1 or 2 a day, this will last you 5-8 years) for $36 or a box of 200 for like $2.50. You can get those at Alcohol Prep Pads :: Infection Control :: Wound Care :: Colonial Medical Assisted Devices

Anyway, enjoy!

Great suggestion! I've visited those sites and made an order.

Appreciate those money-saving tips!!!

Default Re: DTG Cleaning Supplies

If you buy the swaps from an electronics distributor they are usually ESD (electrostatic discharge) safe which means you won't accidently zap any electronic components that you may be cleaning. Also try to use 90% isopropyl alcohol. The watered down alcohol can leave residue. Some electronics parts distributors:
Digi-Key Corporation - USA Home Page
Mouser Electronics - Electronic Component Distributor
US - Electronic Components Distributor | Newark.com
