Default made my own ink filters

I got tired of damper clogs and built some filters to put in the ink bottles to stop the clogs before they get to the printer.

Has anyone else done anything like this?

Most commercial direct to garment inks are filtered through .1-.5 micron filters prior to being bottled. A typical direct to garment printer can handle at least a 10 micron particle. That being said, there are commercially available, inline filters that can be installed to re-filter the ink enroute to the printhead. We have been doing some testing with these and so far the results have been inconclusive.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Don, My first thought was to remove the dampers altogether and just run the lines directly into the printhead. It seems these dampers clog quite easily. I am hoping to fend off this type of even by doing this.
