Wink Printing entire shirt front

Hi,
Read a brief post about being able to print the entire front of the shirt, including sleeves with one pass of the printer. Does anyone have more information on how to do this or who does this. My design is for the whole T and I don't want/like screen printing for large designs. Design measures 20x27 and it can't be reduced and retain the effects I want. I saw some interesting pictures on Belquette that were on molding. Has anyone tried to print in one pass and gotten decent results? It would be OK if the print around seams was a little off. Short of having fabric custom made or spending $16,000 for a DTG printer and experimenting I have been unable to find a solution. Any help/ leads would be cool. Thank you,
angels26

hi, if you are printing dark on light you can make your screen any size you want. I've printed with screens that where 4 by 8 feet, one arm squeedgee but the ink we used dryed through evaporation so you racked everything instead of sending it through the dryer ,which in your case would have to have a belt wide enough for the whole shirt 3 feet or more for 2xl .multi colour full shirt are trickier, all the best .cecil

Wink Re: Printing entire shirt front

Thank you Cecile,
I am new so I guess I don't understand the answer. It sounds like screen printing to me. Am I correct? Or does DTF use a squeegie too? Thanks

On our Flexi -jet L you can print a 17 by 54 inch print.

So- one pass , 100% of shirt front, no. But you can do some very interesting prints. The shirt can be laid sideways or at angle to place the design where you want it-if you are willing to be a little creative with designing your own platen.
