Default started a new maintenance proceedure that is really helping alot with HM1

So about a month ago, after ending up with a clogged damper I added a new thing to my maintenance routine. I have started flushing my system every three weeks with distilled water and then doing a final flush with distilled water and cleaning solution. I have done it twice so far and it is working really well, my machine is running beautiful since I started doing this besides all of the regular day to day maintenance. I found it is alot easier to clean my dampers this way than to remove them and clean. Is there any thing that anyone else does besides routine maintenance that keeps there machines running more smoothly? I thought it would be a great thread to start for all of those who have problems that maybe we could list little tricks we have learned that might be bennificial to others. Maybe help so they dont end up having problems. If you have any special little things you do feel free to post them. I know alot of people post about clogging problems so I though maybe it would be good to have a resource of things for them to try.

I tend to flush my system out once every 2 months or so. I find that just keeping a good dust free environment and daily maintenance means I dont run it many problems anymore. My color dampers have lasted me over a year, the whites I've changed once and I expect them last a lot longer now with the new white ink.

I think a full flush every 3 weeks can be a bit costly. But I guess it depends on how many t-shirts you do a day.
